I was looking for a dog but not just any dog..My 12 year old son was killed 2 months before I decided I wanted a dog.I fell so in love with the Maltese it made me cry.It was my very first dog ever, so I found a pet store in Los Angeles called Sunny's pet shop, I called Sunny to make arrangements to go see the dog. Because it was a pet store I trusted it more to be a purebred.

I looked at the dog and asked whats wrong with the tail she told me that the maltese have their tails like that which it was crooked at the tip. I asked her if she was the breeder she said she was, ...I decided to purchase the dog. As my dog grew the hair became so curly and rough, which had me wondering because a purebred has straight, soft silky hair.

A year later I was watching the news Fox 11 and saw that they were going undercover to a pet store who got dogs from a puppymill and saw the store and owner where I bought my dog!!!! I was Shocked...I bought a dog for $900 that is not even a purebred maltese, Sunny lied saying her puppies were not from a puppymill sold me a pup with a broken tail,lied again telling me that maltese have naturally crooked tails when in fact his tail was broken. I FEEL CHEATED, AND BETRAYED..Sunny's Pet Shop is a Liar, and a Fraud!! She has her pups registered to CKC, because CKC will register ANY dog they even if its mixed!!
