Good afternoon sir
I am contacting you about a charge that has been appearing on my checking account statement since January 2008. Numerous times I notices it as a pending charge. When I would try to access additional info about this $20.00 charge I couldn't because it was pending. I would then forget about it. Today I found the pending charge & decided to do some further investigating. I discovered that it is life insurance that Bank of America was trying to sell me. They give you 2 months free & then it is up to the individual to contact them in order to cancel. Of course I forgot about it. When I opened my account at B of A, I was inundated with marketing calls for savings insurance, checking insurance etc. You name it, they called. I am guessing they wore me down & said okay to the 2 month trial. This is outrageous! I called them today & they said I could not get any of my money back including the payment that is pending for this month. I checked the Rip-Off Report site & there are so many complaints. Please help! There are so many low income people who have fallen victim to this.
