Ripoff Report Verified Safe

On Sept. 22, 2008 found this website selling 2 copies of a brand new World of Warcraft Collectors Edition. I emailed them asking for more information about the item.

They replied:

'Ecrater has been around for a while now. Lots of people have stores on it.

Not really sure how I can guarantee I'm legit... I mean, if you use google
check out, they obviously have a dispute process. If I were to not send you
something or send you something not as described, you could easily just file
a claim with them. On the other hand, if you use a credit card, every credit
card company has a claims process and zero liability for fraud or not
receiving things/receiving things not as described.

That's the only thing I can really tell you. I have no reason to not be
legit though. I do reselling for a living, mostly on Amazon, I've done a bit
recently on ebay, and just trying out ecrater now. There's also blujay which
I want to try as well, they don't have any kind of listing fees so if they
get a lot of traffic coming there to shop, they may be a better alternative
to ebay though.

My ebay ID is mcshop2424 If you wanna look it up. Haven't sold too much on there, although I will be listing quite a bit in the next few months... regardless though, I have 100% positive feedback there, not in the business of ruining someones world of warcraft fun :P

I purchased 2 copies of the game at $459.99 through google checkout on 22 September 2008. The next day he claimed that he sent both items and gave me a shipping tracking number through email. After a few days, I checked the tracking number and found out that the items had in fact been delivered....to Morro Bay, CA (I live in Tucson, AZ)! At this point, I knew something was wrong.

It is now 6 October 2008, 0 email replies from this seller, and 0 items received. Buyer beware, this seller is a complete scam artist fraud!

He is listed as mcshop2424 on ebay, his personal email address is mcshop24@comcast.com.

I'm going to be contacting ecrater.com, google checkout, paypal, comcast, and eBay to both get my money back and defraud this scam artist.
