Charleston, West VirginiaI too received a check in the amount of $4900 and was told to call them before I attempted to cash it so I did but could not receive any answer as to how my name was enter to win this lottery. When I question the person on the phone he got angry and smarted me off.
So I called the bank that the check was printed on and they confirm that this is a scam and under no circumstances should I cash this check. My question is how do we stop this company from ripping off people who really need this cash and will try and cash this check before they check to see if they are in fact getting scammed?
