Anybody that has Vonage...... good luck to you if you ever try to cancel the service.
I just spent 62 minutes on the phone with them trying to cancel my account that I have had for over 2 years. Im pretty sure I said the phrase 'CANCEL MYACCOUNT' about 100 times. Call center girl repeated the same hard sale routine 4 different times..... I got to the point that after every word she would say I would just repeat 'CANCEL MY ACCOUNT' and still she would just keep going with reading from the script. Then she tried to keep putting me on hold because her 'system was down' but then would repeat something from the system that I had previously told her. Then she tried the old 'let me talk to my supervisor' routine still with me yelling that I dont want any free offers I just wanted my account shut off...!!!!!!!
I thought for awhile maybe I was talking to some AI callbot...she would just keep repeating the same questions over and over and over no matter what I would answer and just ignoring the fact I would repeat CANCEL MY ACCOUNT over and over to anything she said.
FINALLY.... FINALLY after over an hour she cancelled the account. I then called my credit union to make sure that they would be unable to bill me for anything in the future.
no wonder there is no automated cancellation ability on the website they just want to get you on the phone and annoy you for an hour.
