First, the newspaper ad said I would make $450/wk base pay. In training we were told we would work from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I was finding myself getting home around 12:00- 3:00 a.m most nights. We were told we would have a canvaser, but we were the ones out knocking doors and getting our own appointments. I was canvaser, driver, and dealer, but was only paid for one duty.

Money was shorted, and they treated customers really bad. One customer threatened to call the better business bureau on Jeremy because of his unethical business tactics. I was constantly mistreated as an employee, he would text me saying 'where the f*** are you', and to keep from paying me for my sales he would lie and say the customer cancelled. He was sexually harrassing the drivers he hired, and some female employees he hired. These are things I and other employees witnessed. He is giving the Kirby company a very bad name, and is a very undesirable person to work for. I made close to 18 sales in one month and quit because of his unethical behaviors.

Please beware, the Kirby company is not all what it is cracked up to be. It is a scam! We worked anywhere from 100-110 hours per week and if you did not make a sale you did not get paid for your time put in on the job. There is a lot more complaints I have about this company, but not enough time to write about it at this mooment.

One thing people should know is that the area distributors only pay $580 for each Kirby they purchase, and then they sell it to the customer for $2245. They are used in many different homes before you purchase them, so they are used. Kirby is a very unprofessionally ran company and people should be very cautious.
